Hand-blown and moulded Charcoal glass and cast composite leaf with decayed silver finish. Also available in ‘Assam’ (amber) glass colour with highly decayed gold finish. Warm-grey satin shade.

All wirework in Porta Romana lamps is 4mm thick and powder coated. This extra rigidity helps prevent dinks during its lifetime and allows the shade to travel well. Porta Romana stitch the side seams, a feature that is now a hallmark of a Porta Romana shade.

The transparencies of the linings have been created purposefully to give the perfect glow when lit because every silk, satin or velvet requires a different thickness. A cost may incur to change specification for Europe and USA use.
