This Verdure wallpaper is based on a late 17th century painted linen, which at its peak popularity was pinned to walls from floor to ceiling.

Verdure has been digitally printed onto wide width wallpaper to show the full scale of the design. Available in two colourways: tapestry green and lead blue (seen in picture). It is also available in a linen print.

Washable wallpaper. Moderate colour-fastness. Must be pasted to the wall. We recommend using Zoffany Ready-Mixed Paste. Paste can be ordered from Zoffany in a 5kg tub (covers approx. 5 rolls) or 10kg tub (covers approx. 10 rolls). A good quality lining paper is also advised.

Why we love this product

Wallpaper evoking a late seventeenth century leafy countryside.

We love that this wallpaper is based on 17^th century design. Aptly named, it beautifully tells a story with its delicately painted details of birds, buildings and trees, conjuring an atmosphere of freshness. The pattern is big and stimulating yet the blue and grey tones in the lead blue colour way, as pictured here, are soothing and calming.

This wallpaper works well when tempered with areas of painted panelling but can equally be displayed as it was in the 17^th century from floor to ceiling as an elegant, statement surrounding. You can almost hear the peaceful songs of the birds as they soar across this depiction of a serene landscape.
