We love this delightful lamp that is full of character. Porta Romana have captured the charming quirkiness of webbed duck feet in this design. It is as if the lamp could almost pop off your table and wade through a pond. We also love the metallic tones that are so intrinsic to Porta Romana's style.
It is a lovely contemporary take on a classic Georgian design, when the feet of furniture were designed to look like they belonged to animals. It is definitely a piece to brighten up any hall, living room or even office.
Porta Romana is synonymous with beautiful design made to the highest of standards. Only when these criteria are met is the final piece branded with the Porta Romana Maker's Mark, as proof of its heritage.
While on holiday to London from the states I wasn’t thinking I would need an Interior Decorator. However, finding a lamp that I just had to have, my search lead me to Author Interiors.
Communication is so important. From my first email to Author’s, I received quick and friendly responses. I had several questions that had to be researched and verified by the maker. Both Jane and Catriona suggested options that might save money and yet have the same results, (having the lampshade made in the US).
When everything was verified and finalized I was given a date to expect my purchase. I was updated during the process and delighted when my Lamp arrived early! The packaging by lamp maker Porta Romana was perfect, with nothing out of place. It was a fantastic purchase!
