  • When needed, dust with a soft bristle paint brush. Each bronze after the patination process is sealed with a wax coating or sealer to protect from the moisture in the atmosphere. Bronze tends to take on a verdigris colour if exposed to high moisture areas, even within the home.
Why we love this product

Butterflies in various degrees of patination

This stunning framed bronze sculpture is hand crafted by Kris Copeland in his Tayside workshop in Scotland. There is a playfulness with the composition of the piece and its name as the butterflies speed out of the gun in a 'big bang' style. We love the different variations of patina such as the natural bronze, the verdigris and the read earthy brown displaying the amazing finishes bronze can take. Kris's love for the rural landscape of Scotland and animal kingdom is blatant to see in this beautiful, contemporary sculpture, particularly in the earthy toned finishes.

This piece lends itself to any room it is displayed in particularly in either a traditionally or contemporary styled interior space.

What our customers say...

I ordered a gorgeous pinch bowl for a girlfriends 40th and it arrived as promised; beautiful wrapped with a lovely personalised note and information on the piece and who made it. Everything was of such high quality and elegantly put together….my friend absolutely loved it and really appreciated the effort I had gone to. I didn't tell her it wasn’t quite all done by me!
