Hand crafted by Jonathon Vaiksaar in his Thurstaston-based workshop in England.

Handmade by encasing the waney edged Elm in resin before cutting to size and sanding to leave a polished finish. Constructed using mitre joints which allows the timber to wrap around the box in a continuous grain pattern. The resin is tinted to allow the depth of the timber to show through. The inside of the box is lined with goat suede. A single tray with dividers is also provided which can include ring holders. It is made from dyed Sycamore and sits upon a waney edged housing providing a large space below for larger items.

Exquisite British Burr Elm encased in Resin

This stunning jewellery box is handcrafted from the most beautiful Burr Elm, displaying the rich coloured swirls of the alluring grain pattern. On first glance, the tinted resin looks full matt black but when you open the box you can see the sophisticated translucent tint of the resin. Inside the box is a sing tray with dividers lined in goat suede. The divider is made from dyed Sycamore and can include ring holders. The divider sits on top, housing an ample space also lined in goat suede for large pieces underneath such as necklaces, brooches and bangles. The lining can be made with a bespoke colour choice.
