Handcrafted by Jonathon Vaiksaar in his Thurstaston-based workshop on the Wirral Peninsula in England.

Hand carved from the finest British Burr Elm and lined with goat suede. Constructed using traditional pegged mortise and tenons with a simple pegged hinged lid.

A beautiful box that will sit at home in any room

This gorgeous box is handcrafted from the finest British Burr Elm, displaying the rich colour and swirls of the exquisite grain pattern. It is lined with goat suede to house any cherished items such as jewellery or trinkets. It can even be used for stationary or to hide desk clutter elegantly in any study or home office. The goat suede lining can be made to a bespoke colour if desired. Traditional joinery techniques have been used to create this piece such as the pegged mortise and tenons. The wave detailing on the front gives this stunning box a contemporary edge making it right at home on any console table, dressing table or desk.
