Handcrafted by Jonathon Vaiksaar in his Thurstaston-based workshop in England.

Handmade from the finest British Burr Elm and lined with goat suede. Constructed using traditional pegged mortise and tenons with a simple pegged hinged lid.

The box pictured has been sold but Jonathon can make another in 6 to 8 weeks.

The swirls and burrs of beautiful British Elm

Hand crafted from the finest British Burr Elm by Jonathon Vaiksaar in his Thurstaston workshop on the Wirral Peninsula, this stunning Desk Box displays the rich hues and grain pattern of British Elm elegantly. The deep red of the goat suede lining adds to the warmth of the timber. The distinctive wave detailing on the lip of the box lid gives this box a contemporary feel and adds tactility to the top of the box which will make you want to run your fingers along it.

The goat suede lining can be made with a bespoke colour if so desired. This gorgeous box looks sophisticated on any console table, desk or dressing table.
