TO TREASURE FOR EVER
A solitary vessel inciting emotions and feelings of family.
This miniature porcelain vessel and stamp has a meaning and specific feeling, personal to the maker. It represents and describes the relationships within families. The vessel has a simple form that is unadorned and the base has a stamp. The stamp is used to give a feeling of life. All processes are kept to a minimum as the spirit and feeling of the work is captured whilst the vessel is in motion on the wheel.
The piece is produced together with its base, complimenting and working harmoniously with each other. The grouping together of objects, the tensions between the pieces, the relationships of vessel to vessel, of stamp to vessel, have importance.
