Handcrafted by furniture maker Jan Lennon in her Somerset based workshop.

The Arda Bar Light is a bar pendant light that features an ebonised oak bar that has been turned on the lathe and a paired elegantly with gorgeous curved steam bent natural oak arms. The bar is ebonised using natural ingredients, a centuries old technique, that sees these ingredients interact with the tannins in the oak to give it its darker colour whilst still displaying the beautiful pattern of the wood grain. This bar ceiling light comes with adjustable ceiling grippers to allow you to alter the hanging of your light easily. This hanging bar light works perfectly as lights over a breakfast bar or over dining tables.

Bespoke options are available such as the colour of the cable, the temperature of the light and the bar's length. This light is dimmable but it is not provided with a dimmer. Comes with 1 metre of cable and hanging wire.

Why we love this product

A simply beautiful, sculptural bar light

This bar pendant light has gorgeous steam-bent arms that give it a sculptural aesthetic. The Arda Bar Light is made from sustainably sourced oak. The main light bar is made from ebonised oak, created using a natural and traditional ebonising method that darkens the wood's colour yet still displays the beautiful pattern of the wood grain. The steam-bent edges give this bar light added interest, making it a perfect piece for office spaces and home studies.

This bar ceiling light is made to order and so it comes with a variety of bespoke options such as cable colour (pictured in grey and also blue), length and colour temperature. Please get in touch to discuss these variations.
