Handcrafted by bronze artist, Neil Lemaire, in his London based studio.

This beautiful vessel is handmade using the ancient Lost Wax casting process. The wax is dipped in a ceramic material. Once the wax is melted out , the molten bronze is poured in to create this unique and exquisite bronze piece. The interior is mirror polished and the exterior features a blue patina due to a natural oxidisation process used by the artist.

Mirror polished surface can be cleaned with 'Brasso' and a soft cloth. Avoid cleaning any patinated surfaces. Can be dusted using a soft paint brush. Suitable for outdoors, but will evolve due to natural weathering.

An exquisite bronze vessel

This stunning, solid bronze vessel features a polished mirror interior and a unique and rare blue patina on its exterior. It has a gorgeous splash texture that is created during the Lost Wax casting process, an ancient technique used by the Celts.

The inspiration behind the piece is the cooling, setting and deposition of molten materials and geological formations of minerals over time. Neil has created delicate, splash formations, captured in the solid metal, giving the piece the look of moving liquid. The blue patina is a result of a secret technique that speeds up the patination making this piece a beautiful and contemporary artefact that can be cherished as a family heirloom for years to come.
