Creatively designed by Wendy Morrison in Scotland.

Please note that this rug is made to order. This rug is made with 100% Wool and Tencel, hand-tufted with a high thread count by skilled artisans in India. Tencel is produced by environmentally responsible processes from sustainably sourced natural raw material wood. This sustainable fibre is known for its strength, flexibility, efficient moisture absorption and gentleness to skin.

These rugs are the only items we sell that are designed in Britain but made skilfully elsewhere. All Wendy Morrison's rugs carry the GoodWeave label. GoodWeave is a global, Not-for-profit organisation which operates an international certification programme, working to end illegal child labour in the rug industry and to offer educational opportunities to children in South Asia.

    LUXURY GIFT WRAPPING

  • Select 'Luxury Gift Wrapping' in BAG and, for £6.00 per gift ordered, we will wrap the gift beautifully in one of our luxury gift boxes with tissue paper, ribbon and seasonal decoration. We can also add a personalised message at no extra cost, which you can provide in the 'notes' section in CHECKOUT.

  • Please allow up to 12 weeks for make and delivery as this rug is made to order.

    Standard Delivery - is for items that are small/light in weight, delivery is £7 and should be with you in five to seven working days. If a piece is needed urgently don’t hesitate to get in touch as we may be able to fulfil your wishes using an express service at an extra charge.

    Specialist Delivery - is for items that are too large/heavy/fragile to be sent in a parcel. As soon as your order has been received our customer service team will be in contact thanking you for your order and providing an accurate lead time. A shipping invoice will then be emailed to you requiring payment prior to despatch. Be assured, AUTHOR have negotiated competitive shipping costs from reliable couriers.

  • The rug can be vacuum cleaned. Although stains may be removed gently with mild, soapy water, professional cleaning is recommended. Leave muddy paw prints to dry before vacuuming.
Why we love this product

Is there any sight more beautiful than a hummingbird in flight?

The warm, gold droplets on this neutral rug almost look like nectar dripping from the flower that these Indian teal hummingbirds have just fed on. The shimmering gold and three hummingbirds give this grey rug a touch of flair and a unique, delicate twist. We love that the design is subtle and asymmetrical.ÿ

This rug should be displayed proudly as the noble birds posed upon it, with their chests puffed majestically. Its non-invasive and sophisticated tones allow it to be paired with almost any coloured furniture or accessory in your home. ÿ

Due to the neutral colouring, we wouldn?t recommend this for a high traffic area such as a hallway or well-used lounge. On the other hand, it?s perfect for a bedroom or lounge area which has lighter use, or one which doesn?t have outdoor shoes traipsing in.
