A Gorgeous Gold Leaf Vessel
Claire has transformed this domestic food can into a beautiful and unique gilded sculpture using her amazing metalworking skills. The handworked pattern creates a wonderful texture and allows you to see the hand gilding work in the interior, a visual metaphor for the can's metamorphosis. We can see Claire's inspiration from nature for her pieces as the textured surface pattern on the exterior reminds us almost of the head of a thistle or eryngium.
We love Claire's focus on being as ethical and environmentally responsible as possible and love that she has elevated an everyday item such as a tin can into art.
