A gorgeous dish to bring you joy
Karen Gibson, the maker of this ramekin dish, has always had a fascination with insects and this piece evolved from a specimen bottle range of her insect drawings on specimen bottles. She wanted to make a dish that would be suitable for serving food such as salt, butter or jam as well as being a conversation or centre piece for the table.
This gorgeous dish is such a delight and will make you smile whenever you use it. Bees are very topical at the moment and these dishes are great for serving honey in with their exquisite texture that mimics honeycomb. The hand-painted gold lustre rim also mimics the glow and shine of honey, adding an extra depth of elegance to the piece. These dishes can also be used for holding candles or treasurable items such as jewellery and family trinkets.
