Made by the skilled and talented team in the Alexander Joseph workshop in the South of England.

The gorgeous cordless Highclere Lamp has a large, handblown glass body. It comes with a battery cell and electronics made by Alexander Joseph in its base to allow its cordless use. The bulb is a bespoke, vintage styled LED bulb and is rated for at least 50,000 hours of use. Please get in touch if you require a replacement bulb. The lampshade is made from silk by a family supplier of Alexander Joseph's that has been trading continuously for over 100 years.

Highclere Cordless Lamp handmade in Britain

This cordless lamp has a gorgeous, large handblown glass body which lends itself to many spaces such as bedrooms, sitting rooms, halls, lounges and studies. This lamp has a low centre of gravity and is heavy due to it being made from quality materials which reduces the likelihood of being knocked over.ÿ

The lamp base is engineered and assembled by the team at Alexander Joseph. The high-density cells and electronics that power these lamps are deliberately discreet to ensure the aesthetics of the lamp are not compromised.ÿYou will find a unique USB style charging port in the side of your lamp base.ÿThe underside of each lamp base is covered in a hard compound anti slip rubber, this ensures surfaces are not scratched or marked by your lamp.

All lamps are supplied with a dedicated charger, rated especially for use with your purchase. Within the charging port there are red and green lights to let you know when you lamp is charged, charging, running low and fully depleted. Lamps will provide at least 52 hours of continuous use, put another way, 3-4 weeks of normal use before recharging is required.ÿTurning your lamp on is easyÿusing a traditional small wheel mechanism, simply turn the wheel until you hear a double click.ÿ
