Select 'Luxury Gift Wrapping' in BAG and, for £6.00 per gift ordered, we will wrap the gift beautifully in one of our luxury gift boxes with tissue paper, ribbon and seasonal decoration. - In his first year, your horse requires nothing more than a light tickle with a soft duster. The colour will continue to deepen. To keep the current patination you can reapply a layer of any natural paste wax, once a year, gently buffing afterwards with a soft cloth. Should your salmon become very dirty he can be cleaned using a little mild soap and water, rinsing well and drying completely before reapplying wax. For convenience, your sculpture arrives with his own little jar of beeswax.

This beautiful bronze horse is full of character and sophistication.
His regal stance demands attention making him a definite conversation piece, especially when you divulge the name and retell the story. Embarr is amazingly tactile, cool to touch and surprisingly weighty. Place him somewhere you will look often such as a mantelpiece or desk.
In Irish myths, Embarr (which means 'imagination') was a horse from Tir Nan Og, the land of eternal youth. Embarr could travel across land and sea and carried Niamh from the other world to the world of man where she fell in love with Oisin, one of the great warriors of the Fianna.ÿ
It is important to us at AUTHOR that traditional craft skills such as the ?Cire Perdue? technique used to create Embarr are not lost. Being able to continue through Embarr both the oral tradition of passing down legends and the ancient metalworking skills gives us a grounding and reassuring connection to the past.
