For most months of the year, a throw makes a softening drape over the side or corner of a formal chair or sofa.
But when the nights draw in and temperatures outside plummet, rather than throw another log on the fire, we prefer to snuggle down in our favourite chair, wrapped in a soft, warm throw.
The Scandinavian concept of Hygge has gained popularity in recent years and what better way to feel a sense of calm wellbeing and warm internal glow than to get cosy in an alpaca throw, your own personal draught excluder.
The throw comes in a fabulous terracotta orange or neutral grey, which goes with many colour schemes and will suit a variety of interior styles. The alpaca wool is so naturally dense that it can provide warmth without bulk, and as such it drapes wonderfully well.
