Beautifully handcrafted by sculptor and illustrator, Jennie McCall, in her Midlands based studio.

Hand modelled in stoneware clay. The base stand is made from blackened oak. As each piece is handmade by Jennie individually, no two are ever the same and so yours will be unique and special to you.

A gorgeous horse head maquette

This exquisite maquette would add elegance to any shelf, mantlepiece or side table it is placed on. A maquette is traditionally used as a preliminary sculpture or small scale model for a sculptor to act as a rough draft or sketch. We love that Jennie has created this beautiful maquette to the same style with its beautiful textured surface and almost raw aesthetic, giving us insight into her design process. Its size and dark colouring allows it to sit happily in either traditionally or contemporary styled interior spaces.ÿ
