A uniquely made chair
The Feuillet‚ Chair gets its name from the French for 'layered' as it is made through a process of lamination and layering of thin sheets of wood together, in order to increase structural strength and create curves. This contemporary chair is a technical tribute to the richness and depth of the different layers of unique materials, illuminating the complex relationship between the ash plywood and draff material texture.
Draff is a material made by Aymeric using grain waste from 71 Brewing Beer, a local brewery in Dundee. Each chair is unique as the surface texture and pattern is different with each make. A clever, ethical and sustainable way to approach furniture design that we absolutely adore.
