The Monty Chair makes a wonderful occasional chair for a hallway, living room or corner of a bedroom.

Two Monty chairs would work well in a sitting space, arranged next to each other and opposite a sofa.

Its low height means it is not suitable as dining chair. However, its generous width makes it supremely comfortable, especially for the cross-legged sitter (or, dare we suggest, for the wider posterior).

Monty is named after the horse whisperer, Monty Roberts - a reference to the equestrian look of the tan leather upholstery. If you love the tan leather (we do) then perhaps you might like to take the equestrian theme one step further and add some stud detailing. But if you prefer, this chair can be supplied in your own choice of fabric and we would be delighted to assist in this regard.

  • For spills on leather, wipe with a clean absorbent cloth or sponge. If needed, use a lightly damp soft cloth with lukewarm water and let it air dry. Do not use soap or soak the stain heavily. Do not use cleaning solvent or abrasive cleaners. If stains persist then cleaning by a professional is advised. Be aware direct sunlight can fade strong colours of leather.
