AUTHOR will deliver your product as quickly and as carefully as possible. We pride ourselves on our fastidious packaging and despatch service. Where our products are handmade, your order could take a matter of weeks; in these instances we will provide you an approx. leadtime and then keep you updated by phone or email as to the progress of your order. Where there’s a short wait for hand-crafted items made in small batches or for a custom order, trust us; it’s always worth it. Any item intended as a gift is beautifully wrapped, as standard.

Orders under £80 incur a delivery charge of £7. Delivery is free for orders of standard products over £80. Delicate or non-standard pieces are marked as such and incur a delivery fee depending on your location and the size/weight of the piece.

  • For decorative use only, patina may change slightly through handling. Any piece of oxidised copper will be prone to wear, as it is a surface patina. However, this can add to the surface and represent your relationship with the object. Alternatively the oxidised finish can be re-applied if you wish if the true colour of the silver starts to shine through. Please contact us if you wish to arrange for an item to be re-oxidised.
Why we love this product

Small Handcrafted Decorative Copper Vessels

The inspiration for the forms of these exquisite little copper pots comes from looking at amphora, ancient containers from the Neolithic Period. Melissa uses oxidisation to highlight tiny details of these vessels such as the tactile hammered texture on some and the soldered bases on others.

These vessels are not intended to serve any purpose, they are designed to be ambiguous and encourage the viewer to stop, look closer and take notice. We recommend placing these decorative pieces where they can be appreciated at eye level such as mantelpieces, bookcases and shelves.

Melissa has made these exquisite vessels from repurposed copper tubing as she is passionate about exploring the beauty in everyday objects through her work.
