On the Potters’ Wheel from her studio in Newcastle Upon Tyne

Taken from the Icelandic collection these pieces are inspired by the landscapes of the basalt beaches of Vik in Southern Iceland. These bowls are thrown and textured from black Onyx porcelain and poured with a cobalt blue or copper green gloss glaze and dipped with white tin glaze on the rim. The glazes combine in the kiln to create a beautifully fluid effect. These bowls can be used for chilli flakes or as salt and pepper bowls.

Approximate delivery: 3-4 weeks. This product takes 1 hour work to make, over a space of around 3 weeks from start to finish.

Standard Delivery - is for items that are small/light in weight, delivery is £7 and should be with you in five to seven working days. If a piece is needed urgently don’t hesitate to get in touch as we may be able to fulfil your wishes using an express service at an extra charge.

Specialist Delivery - is for items that are too large/heavy/fragile to be sent in a parcel. Why we love this product

Inspired by the dramatic basalt beaches of Vík in southern Iceland, these bowls celebrate texture, contrast, and movement. Thrown and textured from black onyx porcelain, they’re finished with cobalt blue or copper green gloss glazes and a white tin-dipped rim. The glazes melt together in the kiln, creating a beautifully fluid, one of a kind finish. Perfect for chilli flakes, salt and pepper, or simply enjoyed as small sculptural accents.
