Perfectly handcrafted in the Galvin Brothers' workshops in East Yorkshire.

This signature piece is wonderfully hardy. The smallest size seats six people whereas the largest seats eight.

Comes in a range of finishes – English Pippy Oak, European Oak, School Boy Grey and Ebonised Oak. Finished with Hard Wax Oil, Waterborne Grey Lacquer or Black Ebonised. If you need an alternative size – bespoke services are available.

TO TREASURE FOR EVER

The hard-wax oil finish gives the timber a natural lustre and creates a microporous seal that allows the timber to breathe. It also protects the table from everyday wear and tear as well as stains and spills. Please note that the hard-wax oil continues to harden for up to 4 weeks after application so please take care in the first few weeks after delivery.
For daily cleaning of the timber, use a clean damp cloth and wipe in the direction of the grain. Make sure to remove excess moisture with a dry cloth. Be sure to wipe immediately if any spillages, especially liquids that stain. Do not use any detergents, furniture polishes or abrasive cleaners.
For long term care, a periodic application of hard-wax oil every year or two is recommended.

Very Impressed

I love spending hours looking at interior online but had drawn a blank finding the ideal kitchen/dining table. I knew what I wanted but couldn't find it. I described it to Jane at Author and she identified the exact table I had in my head - a modern day take on a mid-century design. I'm hoping to have additional pieces sourced too - making life so easy - very impressed with the service.
