This unique, one-of-a-kind piece is handcrafted by the talented Isabelle Moore in her Edinburgh workshop.

Please note that this piece is currently scheduled to be part of the Scottish Furniture Makers on-line annual exhibition in April 2021. If anyone would like to purchase this stool, it will be available after this exhibition.

This stunning, one-off piece is handcrafted from ebonised white oak, a woven Danish cord seat and finished with beeswax.

It was awarded both the Craft Scotland Award for Craft, and the inaugural prize for Craft from the Scottish Furniture Maker's Association, during the Visual Arts Scotland Exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy in January 2020.

This product requires Specialist Delivery.

  • As this piece has already been made, there is no lead time for this piece. Delivery can be arranged after SFMA photoshoot for their virtual exhibition in April 2021.

    If you would like more of this gorgeous stool, Isabelle would consider making limited batches on the condition of a minimum of 4 being ordered. If you would like to order a limited batch of this exquisite design then the lead time would be dependent on Isabelle's schedule as they would need to be handcrafted exclusively for you.

    Standard Delivery - is for items that are small/light in weight, delivery is £7 and should be with you in five to seven working days. If a piece is needed urgently don’t hesitate to get in touch as we may be able to fulfil your wishes using an express service at an extra charge.

  • Dust the stool with a soft, dry cloth. You can occasionally buff the oak along the grain with clear beeswax polish.
