Handcrafted from reclaimed leather offcuts in the Elvis & Kresse workshop in Kent.

These zero waste reclaimed leather rugs are handwoven from individually cut interlocking pieces made from reclaimed luxury leather offcuts from the finest British leather-craft makers such as Burberry. This particular pattern has been developed as it allows all of the seemingly unusable leather offcuts to be used and not wasted or thrown out. Available in two colour ways at the moment and three sizes, these recycled leather rugs are all unique.

Custom sizes and patterns using a mixture of colour ways can be made, please get in touch to discuss any bespoke variations. Custom-sized underlay is also provided with each rug to ensure the rug feels comfortable underfoot.

Each rug is made to order so despatch will be up to 3 working days from order. You will be contacted if there is a delay in the make.

Orders under £250 incur a delivery charge of £7. Standard Delivery is free in the UK for orders over £250. Excludes fragile or large pieces flagged as requiring specialist carriage; in these instances you must provide the AUTHOR team your contact details, and info about your order via our contact form and we'll reply to discuss your delivery needs and provide you with a delivery quote to complete your order. Why we love this product

A luxury rug doing its part for the environment

These reclaimed leather rugs are made using offcuts from British leather crafters. In 2017, Elvis & Kresse partnered with the Burberry Foundation to tackle the leather waste issue in the fashion industry. British crafters such as Burberry cherish their hides and only produce a small amount of waste. Elvis & Kresse developed a modular approach to using these seemingly unusable offcuts to create three shapes that can interlock with infinite potential. This means that these rugs are zero waste and can be remade and reinvented over time.

Each rug is unique due to its handcrafted nature and the offcuts being individual as well. We love Elvis & Kresse's dedication to sustainability in luxury homeware.
