Creatively designed by Mairi Helena in her Edinburgh-based studio.

This round floral footstool has a gorgeous velvet pattern that was inspired by walks in and around Edinburgh, admiring gardens during the months of restricted travel. It is particularly inspired by the lavender and meadow gardens at the Royal Botanic Gardens as well as the fruit trees and the butterflies amongst them at Preston Hall Estate.

The material is 88% cotton/ 12% polyester (velvet). Please note that the pattern placement will vary.

Why we love this product

This round floral stool has a velvet pattern that depicts British meadow flowers in a multitude of colours like its wallpaper counterpart. It is inspired by the beautiful gardens Mairi admired through walks around Edinburgh when there were travel restrictions in place. Its contemporary round shape is excellent to avoid any shin-bashing and it is very versatile working as a seat, a footstool, and a table when a tray is placed on top.

This luxury footstool is a subtle way to introduce pattern and a pop of colour to your sitting room or bedroom.
