Width: 3.5cm - Up to 5 days when in stock, up to 4 weeks for more depending on Alice's schedule as pieces will need to be made. We currently have a couple in stock and have more arriving with us by the end of October.
Standard Delivery - is for items that are small/light in weight, delivery is £7 and should be with you in five to seven working days. If a piece is needed urgently don’t hesitate to get in touch as we may be able to fulfil your wishes using an express service at an extra charge.
Specialist Delivery - is for items that are too large/heavy/fragile to be sent in a parcel. As soon as your order has been received our customer service team will be in contact thanking you for your order and providing an accurate lead time. A shipping invoice will then be emailed to you requiring payment prior to despatch. Be assured, AUTHOR have negotiated competitive shipping costs from reliable couriers.

- In its first year this walnut requires nothing more than a light tickle with a soft duster. The colour will continue to deepen. To keep the current patination you can re-apply a layer of any natural paste wax, once a year, gently buffing afterwards with a soft cloth. Should the walnut become dirty, it can be cleaned using a little mild soap and water, rinsing well and drying completely before reapplying wax.

A gorgeous walnut cast in bronze
Using the ancient lost wax casting method, Alice-Andrea Ewing at Pomarius casts direct bronze translations from the original organic walnut. These walnuts have been collected as part of Pomarius's ongoing collaborative project of creating bronze castings from produce of gardens, historical locations and ancient trees across Britain.
Each casting captures the characteristics of the piece it was cast from, displaying every detail of its form and making them truly exquisite and unique. These stunning walnuts make a delightful, long-lasting gift with their tactile feel and cool-to-the-hand surface. They work beautifully as a grouping or will sit happily on their own.
I purchased this as a gift, so when it arrived I resisted the temptation to peek to avoid scuffing the smart wrapping. Now I've seen it I can say it is lovely; the patina is beautiful and it has a wonderful tactile quality. Jane and the AUTHOR team made the whole shopping experience a delight.
